Hello! I’m Katriina from Nurmijärvi Klaukkala and I have been riding since summer 2004. When I was younger, I rode hobby horses everyday and we had our own hobby horse stable with my friend. Now when I’m 28 years old Hobby horses as a hobby is left behind but passion for these cute fur balls has stayed. That’s why I decided begun to make hobby horses and make joy to myself and younger enthusiastics. I make all the horses handcrafted by my self at home and my godmother is a wool sock wizard, she is behind off all wool socks.

As a huge Harry Potter and fantasy fan I enjoy creating names, so that’s why I like to name horses advance and invent all the other data from family tree to character. When I was kid, I remember that it was so exciting if some other one has created the name and character to a horse, it was special (:

I love travelling, dancing and nature. Summer and tropical vibes are close to my heart and that’s why years ago I invented the name Tropical Unicorn -Hobby Horses

Mostly I like Dressage riding and big half-bred horses. I like to Challenge my self and my riding level is Advanced. When I was younger, I was jumping and riding western as well but dressage has come my favourite. Riding at the nature and forests is super nice too and I have done that a lot. Have found myself from so many different situations with horses 😀

My favourite horse breed is Irish cob and my dream is on one day to go to Ireland to ride with them. As well at The Netherlands would be nice to ride with gorgeous horses! Andalusian horses are top of my favourite list as well, they are so amazing and magical. I have been living in Iceland for a job training and with it we tooked care of stable and horses with my friend. So lovely Iceland horses are familiar too and years ago I have been at four gate competitions. I have gone through all kinds of things with horses but never changed horse hobby to anything <3
